In the third quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in France saw significant activity among top navigation and maps apps. Here's a closer look at the performance of these leading applications based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps showed a consistent download rate, peaking at around 88K in early August. Despite an overall decline in weekly active users from 11.5M to 11M, the app maintained significant engagement. Revenue remained minimal, with slight increases in late August reaching up to $31.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting strong at 81.6K in early July but declining to approximately 33K by the end of September. Active users similarly fluctuated, starting at 10.3M and ending at 9.6M, while revenue remained at zero throughout the quarter.

Polarsteps Travel saw a peak in downloads in late July at 76.9K, followed by a decline to 27.5K by mid-September. The app's active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 591K in late July before decreasing to 310K by the end of September.

Google Earth maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 14K to 16K weekly. Active users peaked at 463K in early August but declined to approximately 310K by the quarter's end.

Visorando Walking Routes saw an impressive increase in revenue, reaching $45.5K in early August. Downloads peaked at 24.4K around the same time, although they declined to around 6K by late September. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 561K and then declining to 238K.
